All the sounds presented here were recorded and produced by Brian Archinal. This immediately begs the question, “Is this project a soul-destroying industrial model of recording, or an avant-garde redemption of musical individuality as a self-justifying act?” I hope we never find an answer, only a continual searching....
this collection is:
first and foremost, an experiment; an active searching in a new direction away from a docile, discursive future. second, a chance for collaboration and exploration for discourse among friends and great minds alike. third, an objectified space. each piece presented in this format retains a unique shape and space inside a stereo field that otherwise exists as a subjective experience. engage in this sound but also understand the acoustic nature of the spectacle. - credits
